The Graduate Employment Assistance Center of our University organized a meeting of students with the employees of the hotel "W. St. Petersburg". The staff is waiting for them for an internship to reveal the secrets of the future profession.
On September 14, 3rd-year students studying in the direction of "Advertising and Public Relations" visited one of the most modern and fashionable hotels in St. Petersburg, "W St. Petersburg", part of the world-famous "W Hotels" Worldwide. Thanks to specialists in the field of hotel business, they learned how bright and dynamic the life of a "W Hotels" employee can be. After all, work here involves not only customer service, but also interaction with an extensive system of departments, each of which solves complex problems.
Students of our University were cordially welcomed in the conference hall. They got acquainted with the internship programs and departments of the hotel, and most importantly, the concept of "WHATEVER / WHENEVER", which confirms that the hotel is committed to fulfill any wish of the most demanding guest. The originality of "W St Petersburg" can be traced both in the ultramodern design and in its own dictionary of terms.
"W Petersburg" today is one of the best hotels in Russia, which is always in the center of social life, reminding of itself by loud projects and participation in the life of our city. Future experts in the field of advertising and public relations, of course, became interested in how the team so successfully realizes all its plans, every year becoming more attractive for new guests. The students met with the director of marketing department Alexandra Slesareva and found out that the department headed by her performs a huge amount of work.
At the end of the meeting, our students took photos on the hotel terrace with a view of St. Isaac's Cathedral and filled in a brief resume with the aim to pass an internship here.
The Graduate Employment Assistance Center, headed by Tatyana Malikova, traditionally organizes student meetings with employers as part of the annual "My Career" Festival. Visit to the hotel "W St. Petersburg" will help the future specialists to gain invaluable experience in their profession.
