The team of our university became a member of the Russian delegation at the International Forum "Children of the Commonwealth-2017"
From June 25 to July 6, a traditional large-scale event was held at Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan - the International Cultural and Educational Forum of the CIS countries "Children of the Commonwealth". For the first time in the delegation of Russia, the team of the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television took part.
The forum was attended by Anna Krutalevich, the assistant of the television chair, students, studying on the direction of "Television" and "Instrument making", - Daria Mikhailova, Anastasia Khmelnitskaya and Vladislav Kazantsev.
For participants of the event, the express course "Window to the World of Cinema" was held. About a hundred schoolchildren from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Tajikistan got acquainted with the basics of film production.
At the first lesson, a video was shot with the children, in which children acted as actors, the secrets of drafting the script were discussed and scenarios of short films based on proverbs of the peoples of the CIS countries were created.
On the second lesson was created a video based on written scripts. Children have tried themselves as operators and actors in different locations: on the beach, in the park area and indoors.
The third lesson was a master class on animation. Teams created splash screens for their videos with the help of a hand-drawn cartoon animation. That is, they worked as artists, multipliers and editors.
Educational groups of schoolchildren were formed from representatives of all countries. In the process, the children became a united team, engaged in a common cause, their commonwealth formed during the co-creation. Schoolchildren with great interest and enthusiasm participated in classes, rejoiced the opportunity to show their talents and achievements, recorded the resulting work on flash drives.
Also in a short time the University team filmed a video about the Forum. It covered his main aspects: acquaintance and presentations of delegations, master classes, briefing with deputies of the CIS Youth Interparliamentary Assembly, cultural events, excursion to the mountains and leisure of participants.
The film was shown on the big screen in the presence of the forum guests. The viewers was not only children, but also politicians led by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko. The efforts of the crew were awarded with warm applause, and the work at the forum became a valuable experience for the team.
